14a-na0031wm
Chrome OS

What's the end of update date?  I can't figure out what model it is at https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/6220366?hl=en, if it's there at all.

I couldn't find any marketing info on HP's web site stating it.  For comparison, https://news.lenovo.com/pressroom/press-releases/lenovo-chromebook-duet-is-now-available-in-north-am... even says "Updates end June 2028 in accordance with Chrome OS AUE policy."  I think that was present before it got added to Google's KB article.

leee488: I don't think so.  https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-chromebook-14a-g5-notebook-pc-customizable-6pq81av-mb is an example of a Chromebook 14A G5.  It has an AMD processor.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06632434 says 14a-na0031wm has a Pentium Sillver N5000 which is Intel.

I contacted HP support via chat (https://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/shopping.html, I'm looking to buy, contact a product specialist before I buy, Chat button) and they didn't even know. 😞 They said they didn't have that info and sent me to call someone instead.

Yes, I know that.  I don't have the unit.  I'm considering purchasing one.

One would hope for at least enough pre-purchase support to get an answer to a simple question that is a major determining factor on whether I buy something or not.

Talk about wasting my time.

How do you think I feel about this?  It has been a waste of time for me to get an answer to a simple question.

Last night, I searched these forums.  Previously,  I'd been doing all sorts of Google searches to find the answer, to no avail. (And yes, the product naming confusion doesn't help either (e.g. you pointing me to an AMD-based Chromebook, which I'd also found earlier.)  I wanted to contact HP support but they were closed.  Today, I contact them and they don't know!

They even asked me some irrelevant questions like  "what applications/programs are you planning to install to this computer?" and "Are you into photo editing or perhaps video streaming?"

I was able to find a place to contact HP online: hp.com store.  I asked them on June 12th.  They don't know and are checking w/engineering.  As of right now (June 22nd), I still don't have an answer.

Seems pretty silly if you ask me...
