Sorry for my poor English, I'm not native speaker of english
Recently I bought HP Envy 13 x360 compatible 2019 model.
model number is "13-ar0003au".
This model is very good for windows, but not for Linux.
I tried to install various linux distribution from usb boot medium, almost of them goes black screen after grub without grub option "acpi=off nomodeset".
and kernel hang up on starting up process.
Only, Linux Mint 19.1 could be installed.
after installation, it still has many problems.
- it cannot boot without grub option "acpi=off".
- display resolution weird, and fixed at 1280 x 1080, cannot choose other resolution
- touchpad not work
I also tried to upgrade kernel on Linux Mint I installed.
When I upgrade kernel after the version 4.17, kernel hang up on booting and any option cannot boot my linux.
I tried many installation on both BIOS version F.07(first installed) and F.11(2019-05-31 released), but all of my try were caused same result.
There are any resolution for linux installation on my machine?
I cannot think anything, but that there are BIOS bug with this product.
No linux support?
Anyone give me helps, please.
thanks.

I'm sorry, but we here are not equipped to provide detailed Linux support.
HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled. IF you replace that with Linux, or add a Linux OS, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- as HP provides Linux assistance only on Redhat and then only to commercial customers.
The primary "challenge" to using Linux on any HP PC is the availability of Linux drivers. Any hardware that does not work will then range from simple (if there are Linux drivers available) to impossible (if there are NO Linux drivers available) to fix.
Since HP does not provide Linux drivers, your best bet for Linux support is to contact the support forum for the Linux distro you are using.
Good Luck
