@Awie,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Error 0x80020006 happens when your Software Registry is corrupt, system files get damaged from various causes. This is a common problem with computers that don’t get maintained regularly. Eventually, the system becomes overloaded with problems and begins to crash displaying System Errors.

I recommend you follow the below steps and check whether the issue is resolved.

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter Command Prompt. Press and hold (or right-click) Command Prompt (Desktop app) from the search results and select Run as administrator.
  2. Enter DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (note the space before each "/"). (Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to run and complete.)
  3. Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

But why a 6 months laptop have an internal issue like that? I just bought the laptop last year. I didnt try the solution yet but still if the problem still happen, can i change it with a new one? Plus, actually i googled the problem one of the solution said to reset the restart option when an error occur instead of giving a message. But the problem here why there is and error occur because i only used the laptop to do my assignment only with music and video. And i didnt get any message yet after i reset the option. So, im just curious about what the actual problem as i still have the warranty.
