envy 4-1257er
Windows 8.1
When i'm turn on my HP envy 4-1257er after the sudden shutdown on the screen displays the HP logo that says "please wait". After a few seconds appears the "blue screen with a sad smiley" and further reads: "Recovery. Your PC needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data file is missing some required information. File: \BCD. Error code: 00xc0000034. You need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. Is your don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer. Press ESC for UEFI firmware settings. After pressing the ESC button opens a Startup Menu with a choose an actions like: f1 - system information (worked), f2 - system diagnostic (worked), f9 - boot device options (doesn't work) , f10 - BIOS setup (doesn't work), f11 - system recovery (doesn't work). When I click on these buttons (f9, f10, f11) again loaded a blue screen with an error. On the usb-drives with images does not respond in any way.

You will need to use the usb recovery media that you created to access the Windows startup repair options.

You can also make a windows repair usb flashdrive.

When there is a BCD error the HP recovery manager cannot be accessed by use of the F11 key. that is why it did not work.

You should have let the options to show which OS is installed display. please post that now if you would like some help that is specific to your installed OS.

What does  "On the usb-drives with images does not respond in any way." mean. I do not understand what you are trying to say.

I see you still have not posted the OS that is installed. Not many people, myself included, like having to ask the same thing twice. I will make  the rest of my answer visible when you have answered the question that I asked.

Connect the usb flash drive to a usb port. Now press the power button and then press the F9 key. Choose the bootable usb drive in the list as the boot item.

If you provide me with the OS name and type, I will find you a  video tutorial. Source for the OS ISO images are  available at the sticky section in the laptop-->Recovery section in the forum. This is for a clean installation or repair of the current OS installation. You will be able to access safe mode and perhaps use Microsoft System restore.

If you are looking for recovery media, that means you must not have created a recovery flashdrive.  That was not a good plan. If you have a friend who has a laptop with the very same OS, then you can ask the friend if one can be made on his or her laptop. It will not be the recovery media you need to return your laptop to factory state, but it will help you return yours to a useable state.
