Saw Warning for Event 2901 HP Active Health concerning Windows Update in Event Viewer. I have been working on this problem for weeks searching for answers. I tried so many ways to fix this and it is still a problem. So now I go into Services.msc every morning and manually turn it to start. I also have to do this with BITS every day or my Facebook games do not play well. I have troubleshooted on HP Assistant but am told troubleshooting cannot locate error.
How to fix? Thank you 😄

Hello, @River04 – Hope you are well 🙂
Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
Going through your post, I am not very sure of the original issue. What was the original issue that prompted you to check the event viewer? Is it the issue regarding the Facebook online games?
I would also like to know about the services that you are talking about and more details regarding the “BITS” program.
Alternatively, I have seen the Facebook games issues getting resolved after updating the Flash player or by using a different browser. Check and let me know if that helps.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Good luck 🙂

Thank you Dvortex for your help and welcome.
I am still a student on Windows 10 and computers. My computer would not play Facebook games very well so I went in search of the problem. I tried many different things and ended up on Event Viewer.
I mistakenly thought Warning was a critical message. And Error was the potential beginning of a problem. So, I had them switched. Now I see Warning is just a warning. And Error is the critical message. So maybe I jumped the gun so to speak.
I changed browsers as you suggested and the games play now. Before if BITS and Windows Update stopped running my games would not play correctly. Now in the new browser, even if BITS and Window Update stops running, the games still play but a little sluggish. So I manually "start" BITS and Windows Updates and games speed up again.
I also downloaded FixWin 10, PC Health Experts FitPC and DriverPack. Between these 3 tools my computer is running almost like new except when I have to start BITS manually. But I have just started using these tools and hoping they can find the problem.
I appreciate your help and time Dvortex !! Love my HP Laptop !!

I'm not a Windows novice, and am trying to quash issues arising from conflicts / misbehavior of some sort between Windows 10 (1703) and HP software. I am sensitive to "Warning" level messages because they are often related to other more significant issues that may NOT appear related.
In this case, I'm also trying to find out what is causing Event 2901
I'm seeing the following, with 'Source' identified as 'HP Active Health':
Error getting Windows updates: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.
