Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

as the title suggests, my brand new gaming pc is overheating(55 C as I'm writing this

80 or even more when gaming)and its fan is working like an airplane for some reason. even when I'm writing this, its fan is still like a plane taking off.it's been only 1 month since I bought it so I don't think that it's because of all the dust in its fan,I'm not doing anything particular that my pc cannot deal with and I'm sure about it. nothing is blocking its fan and I'm not using it on my lap.I'm even using it on Recommended mode so why is this happening?I'm so sick of it.

Hi @mertfzk07

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps to update the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Download and install the HP CoolSense Technology

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

first of all thanks for replying. But unfortunately it did not solve the problem even though I have started using a fan cooler in addition to hp coolsense technology. And it's all up to date. But I have realized something that whenever I'm using my computer while it's charging,it makes its fan louder and when I'm using it without charging up, it runs perfectly like without a noise(except when I launch something suddenly or something like that) so what I'm guessing is that whenever it's plugged to electricity it overheats for some reason.

Hi @mertfzk07

This looks like a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

@Asmita6658 Ok... So I just got my computer from Hp support and they said that the problem was solved which turned out to be a big lie as it can be seen that my gpu&cpu jumped to 63 Celcius (sometimes even more)as I'm writing this.I'm pretty sure that I didn't do anything that might have caused this issue because I haven't even installed any videogames or whatsoever since I got my pc back. I was just wondering whether there is a way that I can get another model of my pc through hp support services or not. Because at this point I just have feeling like this has nothing to do with what I play or what I do, I think there is something wrong with its hardware. The fan is still like a plane and when I put my fingers on keyboard it starts to sweat beacuse of the heat.

@mertfzk07 As suggest by the last tech, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options on getting the device repaired/replaced, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
