HP 14 notebook- CK2018
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there... I bought HP 14 Ck-2018 laptop 3 months ago with windows 10 single language. All updates are doing good till then. A feature update to windows 10, version 20H2  came across my windows update list. I have downloaded that update and restarted my laptop. it's not updating and taking a lot of time to restart. Help me in this case.

Thanks and Regards,

Manoj

Sorry, but there is nothing we can do about this.  If you shutdown or reboot the PC before it is done, you risk corrupting the OS and you would then have to do a factory reset to get it back working again and will lose everything on the PC as a result.

You have to wait it out.

Thanks for your reply sir. I do know that inappropriate shut down during any update leads to OS issues. My actual query is this : The downloaded update (from Microsoft itself) is not installing on my laptop even after restarting my device. kindly share if you have any solution regarding this issue.

Thank you sir. Wishing you a very Healthy New Year and God Bless You.
