hello. i purchased this laptop with windows 7 but latter changed it to windows 10 .in that procedure i changed the bios password ,but now  i don not remember, plz help me what should i do? thanks

Insert a wrong password 3 times and the PC will give you a stop code. Post the code here.

Hi David, I am on this forum website because I am trying to get into my brand new PC and I don't remember my password. I tried doing what you said and enter the password wrong 3 times and it just continues to allow me to enter a password. Do you have any other suggestions of how I can get in? I tried calling HP and they would not tell me anything unless I paid $69 because a password was not a covered service under your initial warranty
