my notebook or workstation whatever you may call it, is slow from the 2nd month of purchase and i am not able to fix it even after 9 months of purchase .the windows freezes up all of a sudden and lags a lot immediately after startup. while opening a search and then typing for it you can write anything and it will appear only after a certain lag of 10 seconds and more.can anyone help me.

I recommend you perform a system test on the computer to make sure that it is not a hardware issue.

 

Follow the below steps to run a system test.

  1. Turn on the computer.
  2. Immediately press the f2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the UEFI menu opens.

When the UEFI menu opens, select the diagnostic test you want to run, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: If you need to stop a diagnostic test, press esc.

i already did all the tests on my memory and hard drive and my system the results are PASSED. but still it freezes up and i just switched it off twice . i need to know why is it slow and freezing?
