Hi @bhushan123

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like you're dealing with multiple issues at once—let's tackle them one by one.

German Laptop Keyboard Issue

If your German keyboard layout isn't functioning correctly in India, here are some steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Check Language Settings: Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region and ensure the keyboard layout is set to German (QWERTZ).
  2. Switch Keyboard Layout: Press Alt + Shift or Ctrl + Shift to toggle between installed keyboard layouts.
  3. Manually Add German Keyboard:
    • Open Settings and go to Language & Region.
    • Click Add a language and select German.
    • Under Keyboard, ensure German QWERTZ is selected.
  4. Test in Different Apps: If certain keys are swapped or not working, try typing in Notepad or Word to see if the issue persists.
  5. Update Keyboard Drivers: Open Device Manager, find Keyboards, right-click, and select Update driver.

MS Office 2007 Not Working

If Microsoft Office 2007 isn't functioning properly, try these fixes:

  1. Repair Office Installation:
    • Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
    • Find Microsoft Office 2007, right-click, and select Repair.
  2. Run Office in Safe Mode:
    • Press Win + R, type winword /safe, and hit Enter.
    • If Word opens, the issue might be caused by an add-in.
  3. Disable Add-ins:
    • Open Word, go to File > Options > Add-ins.
    • Disable all add-ins and restart Office.
