Product: hp 15 laptop pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

I fell for the pop-up blaring at me that I needed to call for a 'microsoft update'. Called and a man wanted permission to remote access my notebook and gave me an hour to purchase an xbox security card, yes I quickly hung up feel really stupid, turned off the laptop and have not touched it since. Where or what do I need to do to in order for me to enjoy my 3 week old purchase?

I fail to understand the issue ...

 

They called you, or you called them ? Either way, it's a telephone call and has nothing whatsoever to do with your PC.

 

If you think you were actually hacked, you have to tell us what they did and why you believe this to be true.
