HP Pavilion - 15-cc187cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ever since my hard drive failed and was replaced under HP warranty this terrible excuse for a laptop has never worked the same and I can't get any support from HP's. This computer couldn' t run pinball much less any useful operation. I refuse to pay for extra service from HP because they can't make a decent product to save their lives. The amount of issues I have on this terrible device are endless and I didn't have any before. Any suggestions on how I get through to HP?

Hi@Jim367,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion Notebook. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options for out of warranty products as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all warranty service options.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

I am not paying for support. That is ridiculous to pay for especially when HP caused these issues. Give me some information on how to get support without paying. I am not using the virtual assistant either. That service never provides any useful information or help.

the Hard drive they put in may be slower than the original. That is a shame. But it is also possible that something is on it that is using the hard drive an excessive amount for some reason. I have had to deal with slow hard drives a lot, and it is PAINFUL. I put it to myself to install an SSD into the thing and that fixed the issue. If you can get on installed, it should fix the issue for you too. They are faster and more reliable. Unfortunately you would have to pay more, for the drive and to get it installed unless you do it yourself, so it is up to you to decide where it is possibly worth it.

hope this helps

I can replace it myself. Do you know what type of SSD is compatible with my current machine or you can point me in the right direction of one?
