Hi:
Unless you are willing to pay for a W10 license and product key for your PC to be upgraded to W10, I would forget about trying to upgrade.
Microsoft has recently closed the loophole that allowed for PC's to continue to get the free upgrade to W10 beyond the July 2016 expiration date of the free upgrade period.

The only BIOS update available for your notebook was written to be run on W8.
I don't know what will happen if you run it on W8.1, so update the BIOS at your own risk.
