Either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 should work in any of the ports.

thanks for the reply..I installed Windows 7 ultimate by your method.
but now i'facing 2 problems..
1:hp coolsense technology not working(even i tried to install the driver provided for windows10,it installed but not work).
2:validity(fingrrprint)reader not working.one message appears:
the selected fingerprint reader has no management application installed;
while i installed the correct driver provided by hp for windows 7.
and in device manager one yellow triangle appears:error code 28

Please try;
Validity Fingerprint Sensor sp74365.exe
HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software sp71729.exe
CoolSense Technology sp67743.exe
If the above doesn't solve your issues, please post the Windows Device Manager's "Hardware Ids" (just the string of text will do) for those devices you having issues with, and any others that are listed as missing or unknown devices as shown in the example below;
