HP ENVY Notebook 15t-as000 CTO (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got a Trojan Worm on my PC and decided to just use recovery to reinstall a Base Windows 10 Pro OS.  I didn't have anything on the notebook that was crucial, so I didn't need to do any backup.  Using the settings, I started the recovery mode and removed all unwanted files from the system.  When the notebook came back up, I set up my account and then logged in.  It connected to the internet once I attached to my wifi.

I was plugged in directly to my network also with an ethernet cable.  So, once in, I reviewed network settings and adapters and found that it had NOT found an IP.  I updated my IP, but for some reason it would not connect.  I tried several other things to get the ethernet to give me connection to the network.  The thing is that when I clicked on the network, I could see other connections on.  my NAS drives showed up and couple other computers.  But, I could NOT get to the Web.

All during this time, I had disabled the wifi so that I could have a clear field to work with the connection.  THEN, I got a call from one of my vendors who needed help.  After talking to them for a while I turned back around to the Notebook and it had gone into sleep mode.  when I clicked on the screen, it brought up a login screen with request for my pin.  I absolutely created a pin when I had recovered the system.  and I am positive that I have the right pin.

But is won't let me in.  And when it says to use a different method to log in, it went to Microsoft to get connected.  But, it can't do that since the ethernet cable and the internet is NOT available.  And now since the wifi is disable, it can't connect that way either.

I have NO idea what to do next.

Is there anyone out there that might give me some idea what to do next?
