how do i get adp coverage if i'm late reporting the accident and since the accident coverage expired

I have an HP Envy which was covered under the accidental damage protection.  Son had the laptop plugged in across the room and tripped on the power cord.  Laptop flew across room and is badly damaged.  This happened January 5, 2022.  Son was so scared to tell me he didn't until last week!.  ADP coverage expired January 9, 2022!  Is there ANY WAY to have the ADP cover getting the laptop fixed????
