Welcome to the HP Community --

If the external drive is mounted / mapped on your system, the procedure to copy data to this type of destination is not much changed over time.

Were it mine to do, I would certainly not use "move" --

Copy the original to the destination ,

Verify,

Check again -

Only then delete the original.

Never delete anything that is not backed up.

A single version / copy of any data, file, or content is not a backup -- it is a recipe for lost data.

Use "Send"

Yes, there is a "Send to" in Windows 11 -- it's moved to "See more options"

I don't use this method -- tested and it does seem to work.

Example - Select content > Right-Click > Show more options > Send to > Select Destination

Select_Right-Click_Show-more-options_Send-to_1Select_Right-Click_Show-more-options_Send-to_1
