Hi @Lynell1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To set sound notifications for incoming emails on an HP laptop, follow these steps.

  • Open your email application, such as Microsoft Outlook or the built-in Windows Mail app.
  • Click on the "Settings" icon (usually a gear or three dots) in the top right corner of the application.
  • Look for a section labeled "Notifications" or "Sounds" in the settings menu. Click on this section.
  • Find the option to "Play a sound" or "Sound notifications" and turn it on.
  • Choose the sound you want to play when you receive a new email. You can select from the pre-installed sound options or choose your own custom sound file.
  • Save your changes and exit the settings menu.

Now, whenever you receive a new email, your laptop should play the selected sound notification. Note that the exact steps may vary slightly depending on which email application you are using, but the general process should be similar.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
