Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wish to upgrade my hp 15-db0521sa from windows 10 home to windows 10 pro but I can not activate it due to the embedded windows 10 home key.

 

How can I change this?

Ant help would be great

Hi:

 

You have to pay for a W10 Pro license.  It isn't free.

Hi thx for the reply.

 

I have a licence key for pro but when I type the key in to activate it comes up with the message saying can not activate?

I have read that it is to do with the embedded home key in the bios so that needs to be changed some how

You're very welcome.

 

Changing the product key in the PC settings should have worked, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to contact Microsoft Activation Support and hopefully one of their folks will be able to help you get W10 Pro activated.
