how to downgrade my bios i recenntly updated my bios to from F.32 to F.65 i tried the bios recovery proccess and win+b method and nothing works bios update is locked to older version in my computer any bios blew f.65 wont flash

In order to help you, please follow the instructions in the "Update the BIOS manually from a USB Flash drive (outside of Windows)" section of the following HP link: Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System).

The BIOS update is available below.

thanks for replay the bios version F.65 or higher is ok to update and recovery but i want to downgrade and for bios update non windows method i go to by pressing F2 at boot (hp system diagnostics uefi menu) i don't see any catgory of frimware bios and this is what i get vforum.vn-321414-bsym6pa.jpg

Please update the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI interface from the HP link below.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101501-102000/sp101502.exe

thanks for the reply and I appreciate your help after installing Hardware Diagnostics UEFI on hard drive i need to enable secure boot to access it now i can see frimware management section bios update and bios roll-back i follow up the intstrution again and i end it up with 4 .bin files choosing one of them give me an error٢٠٢٠٠٢١٠_١٢٥٥٣١.jpg

I need the Motherboard ID, so that I can help you select the right BIOS update file.
In Windows:
On the keyboard, press CTRL, ALT and S or press Fn and Esc simultaneously.

As I see on your screenshot the BIOS currently installed is F.65 version.

So the computer's BIOS is already up to date.

  • BIOS Version F.65


It is not possible to go back to an earlier BIOS image than the one installed with F.65. This is why you encounter an error, so this is the normal behavior of the computer. There is no need to go any further.
