That's one of the best things about Windows 10. Once Windows 10 is installed and activated all you have to do is reinstall and the Microsoft activation servers know your machine and will just activate it with no need for a Key Code. This is true even if you upgraded from Win 10 Home to Pro as long as the installation was activated. I just had a desktop in my office have the motherboard go bad. I found an identical motherboard on eBay and used it to reassemble the computer using the same processor, memory, hard drive, etc. I used a Microsoft Media Creation Tool disk and told it "I don't have a Key Code" during install and manually selected to install Win 10 64 bit Pro. I had installed from a retail disk originally and had my Key Code ready to use to reactivate. No need. Even with a new motherboard it reactivated as soon as the computer was connected to the internet and I never entered the Key Code. So make a Microsoft Media Creation Tool reinstall thumb drive and reinstall. It will just reactivate. .
