I have wiped the HDD on my Spectre X360-13-4103dx in preparation to sell, and I've decided to give to family member but need to reinstall OS.  No longer have backups.  How can I obtain the Windows key that came with it when new to reinstall the OS?

If your PC originally came with Windows from HP, the product key is encrypted in the PCs BIOS.

 

You do not need the product key to reinstall Windows.
