I UPGRADE MY DESKTOP FROM WINDOWS 7 TO WINDOWS 10. ISEARCHED FOR THE PC CAMERA I COULD NOT FIND IT PLEASE HELP ME RECOVER THE CAMERA.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand that after upgrading Windows from 7 to 10, the webcam is not been detected on the Pc and also on the Device Manager, you are not able to detect the device.

Please try the steps shared below, this will help solve the issue.

The webcam is not listed in Device Manager:

1. Restart your computer. If the problem persists, continue these steps.

2. In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.

3. If there is no Imaging devices category listed, select Action > Scan for hardware changes.

4. If Device Manager does not recognize the webcam after the scan and the camera worked previously, use Microsoft System Restore to go back to a time when the webcam was working properly
