@Mel77_-, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding uploading music files!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Can You Use iTunes on an HP Laptop?
Yes, you can absolutely use iTunes on your HP laptop! Apple provides a Windows version of iTunes, which you can download from the Microsoft Store or directly from Apple's website. This will allow you to sync music, organize your library, and even access Apple Music if you have a subscription.
Alternative Apps to Manage & Upload Music Files
If you're open to exploring other options, here are a few apps that work well on HP laptops:
Windows Media Player – Pre-installed on many HP laptops, lets you play and organize music.
VLC Media Player – A lightweight, free media player that supports various audio formats.
Spotify – If you're more into streaming, you can download songs for offline listening with a Premium subscription.
MusicBee – A great iTunes alternative with advanced library management features.
How to Upload Music Files from an App to Your Laptop
If you're transferring music from another device or app:
From iTunes (Apple Devices):
Install iTunes on your HP laptop.
Connect your iPhone or iPad via USB or Wi-Fi sync.
Select your device in iTunes → Music → Choose songs to transfer.
From a Cloud Service (Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, etc.):
Upload your music files to a cloud service from your phone.
Download them onto your laptop and organize them in your preferred music player.
From an External Drive or USB:
Copy music files from your external device to a folder on your laptop.
Open them in Windows Media Player, iTunes, or any media app of your choice.
If you need a more step-by-step guide, let me know what app you're using, and I'll be happy to walk you through it! 😊
Hope this helps, and welcome to the HP family! 🎵🎧
Take care, and have an amazing day!
