Hi all, I recently installed the HP Cloud Recovery software on a USB drive that I just purchased. But it failed to install and has taken up all the space on my USB drive. It created an error log. Reformatting the USB does not fix the issue. I cannot try again to reinstall the HP cloud recovery software because it has taken up all the space on the drive. It was about 57gb in size before installing the tool. Now it's only 29gb. It's somehow hidden. Any ideas?

 

I need to use the cloud recovery tool because my laptop has a page fault in non-paged area and I have followed all other troubleshooting steps.

Since it s a new Notebook and the Cloud Recovery is failing, I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for the USB Recovery Media

 


1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

I was actually instructed by HP support to download and install the HP cloud recovery software to a USB device via WhatsApp chat. The problem is that now that this method has failed, they can't seem to tell me how to reverse the process so that I can uninstall the failed image.
