Hi @blaznup,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool with your Victus By HP 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop, follow these steps.

Prepare Your USB Drive:

  • Make sure the USB drive is connected to your laptop.

Change BIOS Settings:

  • Restart your laptop.
  • Enter BIOS Setup: Press Esc or F10 repeatedly as the laptop starts up to enter the BIOS Setup. You may need to press F2, F10, or another key depending on your specific model.
  • Adjust Boot Order: In the BIOS menu, navigate to the "Boot" tab and ensure that your USB drive is set as the primary boot device. Use the arrow keys to adjust the boot order if needed.
  • Disable Secure Boot (if required): In some cases, you may need to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS. Look for the "Secure Boot" option under the "Security" tab and disable it.
  • Save and Exit: Save your changes and exit the BIOS. Your laptop will restart.

Boot from USB:

  • With the USB drive still connected, your laptop should boot from it. If not, restart the laptop again and enter the boot menu by pressing Esc, F9, or another designated key.
  • Select the USB drive from the boot options.

Run HP Cloud Recovery Tool:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to complete the recovery process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
