Ben

Hi, @Ben_Floris
You will have to make W10 installation media in Legacy mode.
Those PC's are ancient and do not have UEFI BIOS's, nor can you boot from a USB flash drive on one.
The PC recognizes the flash drive but just hangs when it tries to boot from it.
I have an nc6400 and I was unable to install the latest version of W10 (1903).
The best I could get it to go up to was v1809.
Download the ISO file and use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached below to transfer the ISO file to a DVD so that it is bootable.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If you have the same issue that I did trying to install W10 v1903 using the media creation tool, you will need to install an older version of W10.
My issue was, that it began to install, but on the first reboot, nothing happened after that, and I had to revert to v1809.

Hrmph...
I was sent through the English site to the Dutch site, from there on to several Dutch site subs requiring Serial Number, that apparently was taken by SEVERAL products.
Product number was asked, filled it in, only to be sent to yet another sub asking me my damned Serial, AGAIN.
This sub sends me here, and, seeing I was sent from the English site to a Dutch site, I figured this was, indeed, a Dutch site.
Why then not just have me DIRECTLY from the English site into here?
Are you guys even remotely serious???
As to my question:
Nike Belgium has offered a local school several systems, of which 5 are HP Compaq NC6400's.
These were to be checked by me, and then installed by me, as Nike Belgium, logical, cleaned their disks.
Installing these with the now required W10 Pro x64 is problematic, as this system does not seem to recognise UEFI.
Seeing that my Acronis Boot Stick is EUFI, it won't boot from it, thus I cannot use my backup which was made by this very Acronis system.
Is there a way to overcome this issue (BIOS upgrade, other), and if so, how, please?
Thank you.

@Paul_Tikkanen
Thank you.
My apologies for the late reply, it's VERY hectic in my life at the moment.
But, my sincere gratitude: thank you very much, sir.
Also, I want to apologise for the rudeness, this is not my normal behavior.
I am autistic, and the current situation in my life makes me go bananas.
Having that being sent from here to there to end up here again, was just a drop too much I fear...
Kindest regards:
Ben
