hello. i upgraded my hard drive from 500 g to 1 terabyte. i am trying now to reinstall windows 10 with legacy enabled and secure disabled but on the boot menu the usb is not listed. please someone help. i need to do this for the online school for my son. please note i am not very good with computers. thanks

Hi:

 

If your notebook has a USB 2 port, see if you can boot from the USB 2 port.

 

If not, see if there is a BIOS setting for the USB drives that can be changed from USB 3 to auto or legacy.

thanks for your reply. i tried both usb ports but still didn't work. i couldn't find any option in bios to change usb drive from 3 to auto or legacy
