As usual, not seeing HP falling over themselves to jump in here and help so I'll add my two cents.

 

1.26.00 just became available for download on the HP support site. Download it and install manually. This should resolve your issue.

 

The cause of the problem appears to be that Microsoft is including the BIOS update through Windows Update before HP is hosting the supporting files. I'm sure one will blame the other.

manual Update to 1.26 via download from HP support site solved the problem.
