This laptop will not turn on. It just a says detecting error for about and hr them take me to recovery screen. I've tried both keep my files and delete everything. Both fail.
I can only get the command prompt working.
I type in "systemreset -factoryreset" and it tells me
" 'systemreset' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
How can I force a factory reset if I can get this to start up or get the recovery to work. I just have command prompt and this isn't working

There is no such PC model number as a HP N5000.
See if your notebook is supported by the HP Cloud recovery tool:
You have to enter the entire product number in the search window at the link below, including the #ABA

The Intel Pentium N5000 is the model of the processor that model notebook comes with.
The model number of your notebook is a HP 15-bs234wm, which has a product number of 3TT19UA#ABA and unfortunately that model is not supported by the HP Cloud recovery tool.
So, you have two options:
You can make a W10 installation flash drive with the Microsoft media creation tool from the link below to reinstall Windows with. You will need an 8 GB USB flash drive.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page:

Your other option would be to purchase recovery media for your notebook from this vendor at the link below:

If you can get the command prompt to work you should be able to reinstall Windows.
To boot from a W10 bootable USB flash drive, have it plugged into your PC's USB port.
Turn on or restart the PC.
Immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.
Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the USB flash drive and press the Enter key.
The PC should boot from the USB flash drive.

Get another PC.
Use the Media creation tool from the link I posted to create a W10 installation flash drive and follow the procedure to boot from the flash drive to clean install Windows.
You won't be able to install W10 from the command prompt.
