Hi @Abu_254,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for sharing the image. The screen shows HP Sure Start Recovery reporting: “HP Sure Start detected an unauthorized attempt to run the HP runtime system firmware executing out of main memory.”

This usually means the BIOS security feature detected something unusual, possibly a corrupted firmware image or an integrity check failure. It’s designed to protect your system from firmware-level attacks.

Steps to Resolve This

1. Restart and Let Sure Start Complete

  • HP Sure Start often repairs the BIOS automatically.
  • Restart the laptop and allow the recovery process to finish without interruption.

2. Update BIOS to the Latest Version

  • Go to Official HP® Support.
  • Enter your laptop model and download the latest BIOS update.
  • Install it using HP Support Assistant or from Windows.

3. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  • Power off the laptop.
  • Press Esc repeatedly at startup, then F2 for diagnostics.
  • Run System Tests to confirm hardware integrity.

4. Check Windows Event Log

  • After booting into Windows, open Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System.
  • Look for HP Sure Start events for more details.

5. If Recovery Fails

  • If the system cannot repair the BIOS, you may need to:
    • Use HP BIOS Recovery (press Windows + B while powering on).
    • Or contact HP Support for a firmware reflash.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
