G62-355DX Notebook
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I am helping a friend who owns a G62-355DX Notebook which is sudddenly asking for a "startup Password" after crashing due to a dead battery.  I tried at password suggested in another post for model 2000 which did not work.  There are no passwords set in the bios, and this "startup" password is not a windows password.  Any ideas
