I'm trying to remove a corrupted bios by using the bios update utility. The window on the hp program doesn't see any thumb drive when I insert into pc. I need to write the bios to the corrupted computer but am unable to do so. because this procedure requires a 2nd computer to download and move the program into a thumb drive, I have tried 2 different computers with the same result. Is there a link where I can get what I need to replace the bios on the laptop. The model of the laptop is HP 15-g019wm Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR). TIA

Hello @rcw2
(1) Power off notebook
(2) Disconnect charger
(3) Press and hold <power> button for 30 seconds
(4) Connect charger
(5) Use (another Windows computer) to create <USB flash drive>
