Hi, @moamen_medhat

Some HP notebooks do not show the NVMe SSD in the boot options menu.

If you installed Windows on the SSD, temporarily disconnect the 2.5" drive and the Window boot manager should automatically switch to boot from the SSD.

Notebooks that come with dual drive configurations have no operating system on the 2.5" drive.

It is to be used for storage only.

When you have an operating system on the 2.5" drive the notebook will always want to boot from that drive first.

No need to change any BIOS settings.  Leave legacy mode disabled, secure boot enabled.

There are two different issues here: (1) BIOS showing the NVMe drive so that Windows can use it, (2) BIOS allowing booting from an NVMe drive.

Regarding the first, Win10 and Win11 both have built-in drivers from NVMe drives, so unless your PC came with an earlier version of Windows, you should be seeing the drive in the UEFI settings.  But it might NOT be bootable (see below).

Regarding the second, you have to be in UEFI settings and disable Secure Boot to be able to install to an NVMe drive. The BIOS should see the drive whether the setting is enabled or not.  I dual-boot my desktop using Windows and Linux, so I have Secure Boot disabled, but I have no problems booting from several NVMe drives.

To boot from it, you must have already installed Windows (with the drive formatted GPT) and your PC can not be in Legacy mode.
