Hi @Maaarius ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're facing issues with your HP Gaming Pavilion after a Windows reinstallation, specifically regarding the HP CoolSense app and overheating problems. Here are some steps you can take to address the issue:

Check HP Support Website: Visit the official HP support website for your laptop model. There, you can often find drivers and software downloads specifically tailored for your device. Look for the HP CoolSense application and download it from the official source.

Windows Update: Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, missing drivers and software can be obtained through Windows Update.

HP Support Assistant: HP Support Assistant is a utility that helps keep your HP computer in working order. It can also assist with updating drivers and software. If you have it installed, open it and check for updates.

BIOS/UEFI Update: Check if there's a BIOS or UEFI update available for your laptop on the HP support website. Sometimes, updates to the system firmware can help improve performance and stability.

Alternative Cooling Solutions: In the absence of the CoolSense app, consider using alternative cooling solutions. Ensure that your laptop is placed on a flat and hard surface to allow proper airflow. You might also use a laptop cooling pad to help dissipate heat.

Reinstall HP CoolSense: If you had HP CoolSense installed previously, it might still be on your recovery partition. Check your recovery options or any backup you made before the reinstallation. If possible, you could reinstall it from there.

Remember to back up your important data before making significant changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
