hp stream laptop 14-cb1xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

ive been trying to update my laptop for ages and it says i need more space, ive added a 125 gb flash drive and it still wont let me update. it recognizes the drive and gives me the option to use it but when i select it i still get the "not enough spce you need 3-8 gb for the update." ive literally deleted everything possible to free up space and still no luck. ive even tried factory resetting the notebook and it wont let me until i free up 6gb of space. is there any solution to this? do external hard drives only work for this or will my flash drive work? im at a complete loss of ideas in this situation and im hoping that someone in the community could point me in the right direction instead if me having to take it to a repair shop and pay for a simple software problem such as this. if there is anyone out there that has encountered this probelm and figured out a solution? please, im desperate haha. thank you anyone who took the time to read this.
