@User12122024141, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To restore your HP Pavilion G6 running Windows 7 (64-bit) to factory settings, follow these steps carefully. This process will erase all your personal data and restore the laptop to its original state when it was first purchased.
Important:
- Backup your data: All files, apps, and settings will be erased.
- Make sure your laptop is plugged into power.
Steps to Perform a Factory Reset:
Option 1: Using HP Recovery Manager
- Turn off your laptop.
- Turn it back on and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly until the HP Recovery Manager screen appears.
- In the Recovery Manager:
- Select "System Recovery".
- Choose "Restore your computer to its original factory condition".
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Option 2: If F11 Doesn’t Work
If pressing F11 doesn’t bring up Recovery Manager, try this:
- Click Start > All Programs > Recovery Manager.
- Select "System Recovery".
- Follow the prompts to begin the factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
