@shvansh20, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

We see that your touchpad stopped working after uninstalling the Synaptics driver.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you reinstall the Synaptics Touchpad driver for your HP Laptop PC 15-da3001tu:

Step 1: Visit the HP Driver Support Page

Go to the official HP support page for your laptop model: Official HP® Support

Step 2: Select Your Operating System

  • Scroll down and select your version of Windows (e.g., Windows 10 64-bit).
  • This ensures you get the correct driver version.

Step 3: Locate the Touchpad Driver

  • Look under the "Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices" section.
  • Find Synaptics Touchpad Driver and click Download.

Step 4: Install the Driver

  • Once downloaded, double-click the file to start the installation.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Restart your laptop after installation.

Additional Tips:

  • If the touchpad still doesn’t work, try enabling it using Fn + F6 or Fn + F5, depending on your keyboard layout.
  • You can also check Device ManagerMice and other pointing devices to verify if the driver is installed correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
