HI? I have a problem with installing XP 32bit on my laptop.

whenever I try  to install,  It always shows me blue screen.

I read many articles in this site, in the Paul Tikkanen's replies,  I might need a XP 32-bit SATA AHCI drivers for notebooks with the intel processors.

Am I right?   I tried to find it, but failed.

Please, share it with me.

My laptop spec is intel core TM i7-3612QM.    HP pavilion g6 2114tx

Hi:

Yes, you need to install the SATA AHCI controller driver for the Intel 3rd generation core processors.

I have zipped up and attached the drivers you need, below.

You will need to have a USB floppy disk drive for this, or I have attached the instructions to slipstream the drivers, below.

If you use a USB FDD, copy the files inside the folder to a floppy disk.

Have the USB FDD plugged into the notebook.

When you get to the part of the installation to press F6 to load the RAID drivers, press F6.

WXP will continue to load files and stop.

Press the 'S' key to view the files on the FDD,

You will need to either scroll up or down to select the correct driver.

You want the Intel(R) 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller

Do not remove the USB FDD during the installation process, because WXP will look for some more files later on during the process.

I made that mistake once and had to start over.

After WXP has installed, you can remove the USB FDD.

Something strange, but hope to help someone like me.

After creating ISO file, I made a booting Usb disk using "rufus" , "ventoy" and so on......

but, they somehow show their different error messages...   such as can't find some file,  currupt some file,  partition table error...........

I was so frustrated.

It was luck to me that something hit my brain all of sudden.

I burnt iso file to cd-writer and boot from cd-rom drive.

And, It's working.  Fantastic.
