if you have another computer and a usb thumb drive you can download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and have it create a Windows 10 Installation Media to repair your computer. most likely when it died it simply had an error and needs a Windows installation media to repair the install. No it should not affect any of your files. if i had to guess when the install is repaired it will rollback the upgrade to before the update started and things should be back to the way they were.

Hi @Dudefoxlive, I have the same problem. Does it work with the disc image of windows 10 (ISO file) or do I have to download the creation tool to create an installation media? I’m very worry. Please help...
