HP 15-f003dx
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I don't know why but the keyboard drivers have become corrupt and it seems impossible to find and download the proper ones. The keyboard does not work at all in windows. I went into the bios there running the keyboard test and all keys responded. I am currently using the on-screen keyboard with mouse.  this is my wife's laptop. she passed away a short while back and I can not risk losing anything on it. So doing a recovery that is going to uninstall anything is out of the question until I am able to recover all her files, pictures, etc. Really all I need is where can I download the Windows 8.1 keyboard drivers for the HP 15-f003dx notebook. thank you.

I found this and it fixed my problem. I was able to edit the registry according to this blog and it worked for me.

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

{Unable to Load Device Driver}
%hs device driver could not be loaded.
Error Status was 0x%x

this is what it says in the properties for both keyboards hid and ps2.

 Now I don't even know what a wireless button is because this notebook does not have one. but thank you for the driver. I installed it and it accepted it. I restarted and no improvements. Now I do have an airplane mode button and interestingly enough that is the only key that does work and has worked all along.

 As to the touchpad drivers you had me download they will not install until I uninstall the current ones that I downloaded and installed a few days ago. so here is the bottom line, I am sure you meant well but please tell us what you are sending us to download before we waste our time redoing what has already been done or is not what was asked for.

Now can you or anybody tell me where to find or how to extract the Windows 8.1 drivers for this notebook??????

this is  NOT SOLVED.  NO THUMBS UP.
