i have a 13T-4100 , and i just had to reimage it due to a faulty ssd. After installing windows i installed drivers and the kbd stopped working. i even ran a window update, and the same thing happened. The kbd will work untill the unit boots into the os I have never ran into a problem like this, and was wondering if anybody has had a similar issue with this.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP Spectre 13-4100 x360 Convertible laptop. I read that you have replaced the SSD and reinstalled Windows. Since then the keyboard does not work after booting into Windows 10. I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
Do you have an external USB keyboard to connect and check if it works fine with this laptop?
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Please let me know the exact laptop model no. if the model no. mentioned by me above is different from the one that you have. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l.
- Did you install Win10 from the recovery media that was created on this laptop before or did you reinstall a retail version of Windows?
Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Open the device manager.
- Expand "Keyboards". Now right click on the keyboard drivers and select uninstall.
- Close the device manager.
- Restart the laptop. While restarting Windows will automatically reinstall the keyboard drivers.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted. All the best! 🙂
