laptop dead after re install.

After the latest Windows 10 update, I was left with only 4gb of space on the HD. (Its only a 32gb "drive")! the result? A pc with no operating system, nor anything, except a black screen, and information as to what to do. The problem was, none of them seemed to work. Please anyone, just tell me-am i beating a dead duck?

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if you can clean install W10 by creating a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.

You will need to have access to another Windows PC for this.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After you create a bootable W10 USB installer, plug it into your PC's USB port.

Turn on the PC, immediately tap/press the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu, and from that, select the USB flash drive with W10 on it and press the Enter key.

The PC should boot from the W10 installation flash drive.

When you get to the part of the installation that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.   Click Next, and W10 should install.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
