Hi @Simo20,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Disconnect any external devices connected to the notebook.
  2. Ensure the AC adapter is connected.
  3. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to force the notebook to shut down.
  4. Press the power button again to turn on the notebook.

Try Safe Mode

  1. Turn off the notebook.
  2. Turn it on and continuously press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
  3. Select "Safe Mode" from the options.
  4. If the notebook starts in Safe Mode, you can try to troubleshoot from there, such as uninstalling recently installed programs or drivers.

Perform a System Restore

  1. If you manage to get into Safe Mode, you can perform a system restore to revert the system to a previous state.
  2. Click Start, type "System Restore" and select "Create a restore point."
  3. Click "System Restore" and follow the on-screen instructions to choose a restore point prior to the issue occurring.

Check for Hardware Issues

  1. Ensure that all internal components (such as RAM) are seated properly if you are comfortable opening the laptop.
  2. Disconnect and reconnect the battery if possible.

Use HP Diagnostics Tools

  1. Press the power button and then repeatedly press the Esc key until the Startup Menu opens.
  2. Select "F2" to open the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  3. Perform system tests to identify any hardware issues.

I hope this helps.
