Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so 2 days ago i removed my laptop battery which had run out to see the type because i wanted to buy a new battery, but after that when i use my laptop if i don't do anything in a few minutes my laptop will go straight to sleep mode now i I'm using a new battery and this problem persists, so what should I do because it's really distracting me from doing my homework
