My laptop works till anyone key press and hold continues.when i release the key then turn off.and for starting press shift key 5 time then turn.also error message is this 500 bios recover error.please help me.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Hard Reset Your Laptop:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Disconnect all external devices.
  • Remove the power adapter.
  • Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and try turning on the laptop.

Use BIOS Recovery Tool:

Create a BIOS recovery USB flash drive:

  • Download the HP BIOS Update and Recovery tool from the HP Support.
  • Create the recovery flash drive using the tool.

Recover the BIOS:

  • Insert the BIOS recovery flash drive into the USB port.
  • Press and hold the Windows + B keys simultaneously.
  • While holding the keys, press the power button for 2-3 seconds, then release the power button but continue to hold the Windows + B keys.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to recover the BIOS.

Restore BIOS Defaults:

  • Restart the laptop and press F10 during startup to enter the BIOS setup.
  • Navigate to the Restore Defaults option.
  • Save and exit the BIOS.

Update BIOS:

  • Visit the HP Support page for your specific model: HP Support.
  • Download and install the latest BIOS update following the instructions provided.
  • If the issue persists, it might indicate a hardware problem.
