I'm trying to restore an older laptop to its original Windows 10 operating system. I had deleted all the old information on it and installed Windows 7 on it. Now I am just trying to get my hands on the original restore disc and HP no longer supports it

Hi:
The product specs for your notebook indicate that it came with W8.1 from HP.
HP Pavilion 17-f233cl Notebook PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
If you had previously upgraded the notebook to W10, you can clean install W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Boot from the installation media, and when you get past the 'Install Now' screen, you will be asked to enter the version of W10 you want to install. Select W10 Home.
Then you will be asked to enter a product key. Select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and then activate after you are connected to the internet.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

If you want the original HP factory image W8.1 software, the only place I know of that would sell it is this vendor at the link below:

Just wanted to let you know, thank you! I have actually already ordered the restore disc from the place you mentioned. Found it on another post. In case anybody else wants to know, it's $27, plus $5 standard shipping.
And also, the laptop was given to my wife and she detested Windows 8, so I had "upgraded" it to Windows 7. Had a heck of a time finding all the drivers. Ok, most of the drivers, never got the bluetooth to work. But we are giving it to her dad, so I'm just trying to get it back to what it was.
Again, THANK YOU!

You're very welcome.
I believe that your notebook needed this W7 BT driver for the model Intel Wi-Fi adapter the notebook has.
