Microsoft Windows XP

had to recover my password (lost it) and managed that but can not see anywhere in the setting where the personal data is viewed or password change  options etc or user name etc, email

please advise where it is viewed-personal details to view/update

Don't know what you mean by having "recovered" your password, so you need to explain.

 

Are you REALLY running Windows XP, a ten year old OS? Since I suspect not, you need to enter the CORRECT information if you want detailed help.

 

As to personal details, those are stored in your Windows profile and resetting a password does not have any effect on those.  IF they are gone, then your filesystem has become corrupted and that information is not retrievable.

thanks for reply, mix up here.

It looked like I was referring to my xp computer but I was referring to the community log in lost my password but managed to recover it now, hard to find profile data.

just ignore that one, no issue with hp6715s all ok
