How can I change the login password?  Also, how can I have restricted access for guests?

To get the answer to this question, Yes! you can change the Chromebook password since your Chromebook password is literally your Google password, you can change it on any mobile device and any web browser, so long as you're signed into Google.
 

To change your password:(Google suggested steps ) 

  1. Open your Google Account. You might need to sign in.
  2. Under "Security," select Signing into Google.
  3. Choose Password. You might need to sign in again.
  4. Enter your new password, then select Change Password.

Turn Guest mode on or off (Google suggested steps )

  • Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  • From Home, tap on your Google Home device and then Settings and then Guest mode.
  • Turn Guest mode on On or off Off.
