Product: HP Pavilion g7-2305sb Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
My latest system recovery attempt had a minor issue: the test of the inbuilt wireless device failed. I don't mind because it has been broken for some years and I used an external wifi device since.
However, because of this minor problem, HP recovery manager has apparently set a flag somewhere that prevents a normal windows boot from disk. It keeps asking me to insert a media, but I don't want that. I am pretty convinced the operating system was restored correctly and I want to use it.
Can anyone tell me how I can prevent HP receovery manager from reappearing after power on?
Thank you in advance.
Steven.
